Following the meeting of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, doctors' strike in Bengal has ended. Doctors have announced to withdraw the strike.A spokesman for the joint front of the doctors told reporters that the doctor will return to work because he wants to give some time to the state government to implement the promises. After meeting of the government body at Nil Ratan Government Medical College and Hospital, he said, 'Our meeting with the Chief Minister and the discussion were successful. Considering everything, we hope the government will solve the issue according to the discussion. This announcement was made some time after Banerjee's meeting with representatives of striking doctors in the state secretariat. After the death of a patient in NRS hospital on Monday, the distressed junior doctors had gone on strike from Tuesday after beating two doctors by their relatives.
